Reiselykke means HappyTraveling and describes the sensation some of us feel when we’re ready to head off somewhere with a suitcase at hand or a backpack on the shoulders.
Reiselykke means to challenge yourself, to test your own boundaries – and to realize that the world becomes bigger, the more you travel. Yet everything seems to come closer. Strange, isn’t it? Read more about Reiselykke as storytelling.

Favorite destination: Anywhere and everywhere – every place is unique. However, my soft spots are: the coolness of New York, the home cooking of Italy, the crisp French wines, the sunsets by the Nile, the ancient ruins of Ankor, the islands of Thailand, the Sri Lankan experience … but most of all, the people I meet and the insight to cultures I get everywhere I go.
Food: the Moroccan lamb tajins, the home made pastas of Italy, my grand-mother’s komle (potato balls), the fresh Norwegian cod, the Spanish tapas, the Thai curries, the Chinese dumplings, the French cheeses … and many more. I simply love delicate and well prepared food!
Most exciting trips:
– visiting Israel and Palestine
– three months flashpacking in South-East Asia
– staying with friends in Cairo
– and every single roadtrip I’ve been too …
Mission: to inspire Norwegian travelers to get out there and explore the world – locally or far away
